Obituary for Edward "Ted" Hale Gibson
Edward “Ted” Hale Gibson, of Ellington, entered into eternal rest on Sunday Oct. 15, 2017. He was born on December 21, 1953 in Vernon Rockville, CT to Janina (Michaelska) Gibson of Somers and the late Richard Gibson, he had resided in Ellington for several years. Ted was a graduate of Somers H.S. He was a self-employed handyman/contractor in the area. In his leisure time Ted enjoyed gardening, photography, dancing, flying, had an interest in art and was a race car mechanic.
In addition to his mother, Ted is survived by his children; Adam Gibson & wife Sherri of Castleton, NY, Kyle Gibson & wife Joanna of Philadelphia, PA, Nathan Gibson & wife Christine of Ithaca, NY and Molly Gibson of Enfield, his five beloved grandchildren; Tyler, Alexis & Brady Gibson and Luken & Alaia Gibson. He is also survived by two brothers; Robert Gibson of Wallingford and Richard Gibson of Arvada, CO, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services for Ted are private.
