Obituary for William A. Sperrazza

William  A.   Sperrazza
William A. Sperrazza, 76, of Enfield, entered into Eternal Life with his beloved family at his side on Sunday March 25, 2018. He was the loving husband of 57 years to Catherine M. (Sacco) Sperrazza. William was born on June 2, 1941 in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, CT to the late Rosario and Elsie (Henderson) Sperrazza and was a life life-long resident. He served his country proudly with the U.S. Army.
Prior to retiring in 1999, William was employed with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, East Hartford for 37 years. In his leisure time he enjoyed hunting & fishing and attending all the grandchildren’s activities. William was member of St. Patrick Church, also a member as well as Past President of The Enfield Hunters Club, also a member of the Enfield American Legion Tanguay-Magill Post 80.
In addition to his wife Catherine, he is also survived by his four sons: Jim Sperrazza & Toni Provost, Tim Sperrazza, Bill Sperrazza all of Enfield and Rob Sperrazza & wife Sarah of Suffield, his beloved grandchildren: Anthony, Emily, Eric, TJ, Benjamin, Abby, Reagan, Aidan and Isabel Sperrazza. He also leaves his siblings: Lillian LeBlanc & Marilyn Lord both of Enfield, Nancy Shoemaker of OH and Michael Sperrazza of MA, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother Joseph Sperrazza.
Relatives and friends are invited to join his family on Tuesday March 27, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, Enfield. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 28, 2918 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Enfield. (Meet at church). Interment with military honors will follow in St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery, Enfield. The family has requested memorial donations be made to St. Patrick Church 64 Pearl St. Enfield, CT 06082 or the Masonicare Partners Home Health & Hospice, 111 Founders Plaza Ste. 200 East Hartford, CT 06108.
