Huguette   Landry  (Leduc)
Huguette (Leduc) Landry, 76, of Enfield, entered into eternal life, on Sunday, April 8, 2018. She was the beloved wife of 50 years to Lawrence E. Landry. Huguette was born on May 12, 1941 in Melocheville, Quebec, Canada to the late Jean and Marie Rose (Laplante) Leduc.
She was educated in Mgr Desmarais, Val-d’or, Quebec, Canada and Ste. Jeanne d’Arc, Quebec, Canada for Nursing School. A resident of Enfield for the past 50 years and in Quebec Canada before that. Huguette was a RN at Parkway Pavilion Healthcare for several years and with Dr. Edward Juozokas, Enfield for 20 years before retiring. She loved to travel to Cape Cod and to Canada to spend time with her large family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards, especially with her family. In addition to her husband Lawrence, she is survived by her daughter Nathalie Kelly & husband William of Manchester and her son Frederick Landry & wife Tina of Hudson, MA, her five beloved grandchildren Patrick Kelly, Ryan Kelly, Austin Landry, Arthur Metherall and Tabitha Metherall. She is also survived by her siblings Michael Leduc & wife Helene Denomme of Val-d’Or, Quebec, Canada, Denise Leduc & husband Pierre Geoffrion of St. Jean, Quebec, Canada, Rachel Leduc & Paul St. Pierre of Val-d’Or, Quebec, Canada, Fernand Leduc & Manon Giguere of Quebec, Canada, and Leon Leduc of Quebec, Canada, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers Gilles Leduc, Rejean Leduc, Omer Leduc, and Robert Leduc, a sister Jeanine Leduc, a nephew Serge Leduc, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends may gather with her family on Friday April 13, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, Enfield, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday April 14, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in St. Martha Church 214 Brainard Rd. Enfield, CT (Please meet at church). Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations in her memory be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, CT Chapter 200 Executive Blvd., 4B Southington, CT 06489-1058.
