Obituary for Eleanor Pearce (Misuraca)
Eleanor (Misuraca) Pearce, 87, of West Springfield, MA, entered into eternal rest on Monday April 16, 2018 at Governors Center, Westfield. She was the beloved wife of 44 years to Raymond Pearce. Eleanor was born on Oct. 8, 1930 in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, CT, to the late Salvatore and Maria (Guiliano) Misuraca. Prior to retirement she was employed with National Airlines and Pan American World Airways for many years.
In her leisure time she enjoyed reading and world traveling.
In addition to her husband Raymond, she is survived by five children: Stephen Pearce of Mansfield, England, Diane Pearce of Bournemouth, England, Susan Walker of Congleton, England, Brian Pearce of Christchurch, England, Raymond Pearce of Saffron Walden, England, thirteen grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Alfonso Misuraca of New Hampshire, along with two nieces and nephews, two great-nieces and two great nephews and many cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a sister Concettina “Connie” Bennett, and a brother Charles Misuraca.
Calling hours for Eleanor will be held on Wednesday April 25, 2018 from 9:30 to 11:00 am followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 am at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels Enfield, CT.
Burial will follow in the Thompsonville Cemetery, Enfield, CT.
