Wilfred Joseph  Mayette
Wilfred Joseph Mayette, 63 of Enfield passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side. Wilfred was born July 20, 1954 in Southampton, NY son of Betty Ann Mayette Carrier and the late Richard Mayette. He will be missed by the love of his life for the past 15 years Joan V. White. Wilfred attended Most Holy Trinity School in East Hampton, NY and St. Bernard’s in Enfield. He was a member of PACI Philippine Association of Connecticut and the Bayanihan Association of America. His hobbies included fishing, watching TV, playing video games, bowling, cooking, baking and mostly spending time with his family. He was a fan of the New York Yankees. He worked for Stanadyne Automotive, Electro Methods, Southern Auto Auction and Avis. Along with Joan and his mother Betty Ann he is survived by his two sons Tim Mayette & Alex Mayette and two daughter’s Deanna Garcia & Ann Monica White all of Enfield; grandchildren Taylour Woule, Justin, Deven, Isiaiah McCuray and Tim Mayette Jr.; mother in law Anecia Valdez; his brothers and sisters Norman Mayette Sr. and his wife Karen of Somersville and Ronald Mayette of Georgetown, DE, Larry, Theresa, Sheri and Michael; nieces and nephews Norman Jr., Ashley, Merrick, Darci Lee and Mathew; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Besides his father he was predeceased by his son Christopher Allan and step father Louie Carrier.
Relatives and friends are invited on Friday June 15th at 9 – 10:30 am for a period of visitation in the Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, followed with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Adalbert Church, 90 Alden Ave., Enfield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
