Obituary for Alice Levesque Ajello (Swantek)
Alice (Swantek) Levesque Ajello, 84, of Enfield, entered into Eternal Rest, on Saturday June 30, 2018 at The Hebrew Center for Health & Rehab, W. Hartford, CT. Alice was the beloved wife of Thomas Ajello. She was born on Feb. 22, 1934 in Derby, CT to the late Stanley and Alice (Soltis) Swantek. She had resided in Enfield for several years and then in Southbury, CT
Alice was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grand & great grandmother, and aunt, who dedicated her life to caring for her family and home. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with family and friends, she was a very devout catholic and a parishioner of Holy Family Church, she also had a passion for polka dancing and was a member of the American Polish Society.
In addition to her husband, Thomas she is also survived by her children; Dennis Nesteruk of East Windsor, Cheryle Gagnon of RI, Bonnie DeForge and favoite son-in-law Thomas DeForge of Broad Brook, Eileen Fisher of Windsor Locks, Jason Levesque of Enfield and Jennifer Levesque of Enfield, her nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, her godchild Laura Rossi of Windsor. As well as her siblings; Irene Novotny of VT, Barbara Dybus of Derby, Sonia Goen of Seymour and George Swantek, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her parents Alice was predeceased by her son Allen Nesteruk, and a sister Marion Swantek.
Relatives and friends may gather with her family on Saturday July 7, 2018 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, Enfield, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in Holy Family Church, Enfield, Interment will then follow in the Enfield Street Cemetery, Enfield. Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
