Jonathan S. Arnold, 62, of Wallingford, CT. passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford. Jonathan was born on May 29, 1956 in Westfield, MA to the late Stephen R. and Isabel J. (Dickinson) Arnold. Jonathan resided in Westfield for 44 years, during which time he was educated in the Westfield Public School System and then furthered his education at Westfield State University where he received his BA in Psychology. He also resided in Brattleboro, VT for 8 years and in Middletown and Wallingford, CT for the past 10 years. Jon was a hardware salesman for 35 years. He had a passion for music and was a talented guitar player and singer. A Mason and a Shriner, Jon was also an active member of the NNESRE “Winni Community” for over fifty years and thought of his many friends there as family.
Jonathan is survived by two brothers, Stephen R. Arnold, Jr. and his wife Linda of Armona, CA, Peter D. Arnold and his wife Gloria Opirhory of South Windsor, CT and an aunt, a niece, a nephew, four cousins and friends.
The funeral will be private at the convenience of his family. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., I91 Tech Circle Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
