Condolence: I will never forget Mary Ripolone. She is forever enveloped in the crazy quilt of my own childhood. She was my second mother, beloved friend of my own mother, Alice, godmother to my sister Dina, and a lovely woman, always. I have endless memories of her and of our extended families on Greenview Lane, and they flood my mind and my heart at this moment. May all of you be comforted by every single one, and remember that you can always draw her close to your heart whenever you need her. I know I will.
